Ad-hoc-Announcement according to § 15 WpHG, 10/12/2015

Jürgen Albert Junker (46) will become new member of Wüstenrot & Württembergische AG´s (W&W AG´s) Executive Board at the beginning of April 2016. He has been appointed for five years by the Supervisory Board of W&W AG. According to current planning, Junker will take the role of the CEO of the W&W Executive Board in 2017 after a familiarization and transitional phase, whereas Dr. Alexander Erdland will resign from this post at the same time.

By taking this step, W&W plans to set the course for generational change at the head of the group in due time. Since 2007, Junker has been member of the Executive Boards of VHV Allgemeine Versicherung and of VHV Lebensversicherung AG, Hannover (Germany). Prior to that, he worked for Dresdner Bank, where he apprenticed as a banker.

Dr. Erdland assumed the chairmanship of W&W about ten years ago. He initiated a strategic realignment of W&W´s company and business activities in order to significantly reinforce the group´s capital base and strengthen its profitability.
